Seniors commit to future plans

Hundreds of George Rogers Clark High School students celebrated their future on Friday.

Family members gathered in the GRC auditorium Friday morning to watch students sign certificates pledging to attend college, the military or enter the workforce.

Brenda Considine, chief academic officer of Clark County Public Schools, emceed the celebration event.

“I’m very happy to see all of our students here today so we can celebrate with you,” Considine told the students.

Two-hundred and seventy-two students committed to attend a university, technical college or trade school.

Eighteen students committed to enter into the military, and 63 students pledged to enter into the workforce after graduation.
