The first session of a two-night candidates forum is set for 6 p.m. today and the Clark County Extension Office, 1400 Fortune Drive.

Tonight’s session will include discussion from candidates for constable, coroner, fiscal court magistrates, jailer, sheriff, clerk and judge-executive.

Wednesday’s session, which also begins at 6 p.m. and will be at the Extension Office, will feature candidates for U.S. representative, Kentucky representative, city commission and mayor.

Graham Johns will moderate both nights. The forums are free and open to the public.

Both forums will be heard live on WWKY radio 102.9 FM/990 AM, and will be streamed live on clarkcountyforum.com and on The Sun’s Facebook page. Beginning May 3 through election day, May 22, the forums will also be shown on cable channel 5/Spectrum channel 306.

Audience members will be allowed to submit questions for candidates prior to the start of the forums.

The forums are sponsored by The Winchester Sun, Clark County Community Education, WWKY Radio and Winchester-Clark County Chamber of Commerce.
