Greg S. ‘Bear’ Reed

Greg S. ‘Bear’ Reed passed away April 29th.

Born in Carrollton Ky., 11/25/1955, he grew up and attended school in Ashland, Ky. He worked many years as a pipefitter and truck driver.

He traveled the country with his work as well as on his motorcycle, which he loved to ride all his life. He was a family man and adored his mother and family.

He is survived by his mother, Ruth M Reed; son, Gregory S. Reed, II ; sister, Melissa Reed (David) Johnson; brother, Rudy (Judy) Reed; nephews, Scott D. (Christy) Reed and Christopher (Erica) Reed; nieces, Brittany Pemberton and Alannah Trent; a great nephew, Connor S Reed; great nieces, Quinn Reed and Jocelynn Adams. He is preceded in death by his father, J. Woodford Reed.

Memorial services will be held Friday, May 4th. from 6-9pm at Rolan G Taylor Funeral Home.
