— At 10:34 a.m. Thursday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Iron Works Road.

— Scott Camden, 19, was charged Thursday with theft by unlawful taking.

— David Durham, 39, was charged Thursday with improper turning and driving on a DUI-suspended operator’s license.

— John C. Fender, 25, was charged Thursday with being a fugitive from another state.

— Joshua Josiah Mobley, 20, was charged Thursday with fourth-degree assault.

— Sarah Nicole Palmer, 34, was charged Thursday with theft by unlawful taking.

— Matthew Frank Yarborough, 42, was charged Thursday with public intoxication, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— At 3:39 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 31 E. Washington St. after someone broke into a residence and took a computer.

— At 4:33 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to Rural King, 951 Bypass Road, concerning a woman stealing clothes. Sarah Nicole Palmer was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.

— At 5:52 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 151 Linden Ave. concerning a theft of gas meters and other items.

— At 6:03 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 1478 W. Lexington Ave. concerning a counterfeit $20 bill.

— At 7:57 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning a suspicious person walking around with a syringe in his hand. Matthew Frank Yarborough was arrested and charged with public intoxication, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.
