According to court documents, the victim, Charles Jones, let the three into his residence on Trapp Goffs Corner Road around 4 a.m. April 17, 2017.

In court Thursday, Bowman admitted to hitting Charles Jones in the back of the head with a propane tank.

Bowman said it started as a fist fight until Jones came at him with a gun.

Sheriff’s deputies wrote in the arrest warrants that Bowman grabbed the gun after a struggle and threatened to kill Jones.

Helton and Reed were charged with assaulting Ronald W. Wiler during the incident.
