Della Faye Crowe Caudill Bender, 83, wife of James R. Bender, passed away on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at Sayre Christian Village in Lexington, KY.

A native of Clark County, she was born on September 6, 1934, to the late Oddie and Aileen Gross Crowe. She was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Christian Church.

In addition to her husband of 20 years, she is survived by two daughters, Camille Cooper and Teresa (Tommy) Welch; one son, Watson (Cindy) Caudill; five grandchildren, David (Tamara) Caudill, Leslie (Eddie) Harrison, Shelly (Josh) Leslie, Jaclynn Caudill and Sydney Cooper; nine great-grandchildren, Abigail Caudill, Asher Caudill, Willa Caudill, Braydon Leslie, Easton Harrison, Isabella Harrison, Adelynn Leslie, Gavin Caudill and Jonah Dailey; three sisters, Joyce Reffett, Sue Borders, and Charlotte (Wayne) Pasley.

She was preceded in death by her parents and first husband, Watson Caudill.

Services will be at 1:00PM, Wednesday, May 16, 2018, at Calvary Christian Church-Mt. Carmel Campus, 3455 Wades Mill Road, Winchester, KY 40391, by Pastors Paul Groves and Wally Rendel. Burial will be private in Clarmont Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Joey Reffett, David Duvall, Tim Duvall, Ernest Wayne Pasley, Robbie Fulks, and David Caudill. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry and Jeanette Centers, Jim and Geneva Berry, Betty Allen, Charlotte and Wayne Pasley, Joyce Reffett, and Sue Borders.

Visitation will be from 5:00-8:00PM, Tuesday, May 15, 2018 at Scobee Funeral Home, 219 West Lexington Avenue, Winchester, KY 40391 and from 12:00PM until time of services Wednesday at the church.
