John D. Jackson, 75

John D. Jackson, 75, passed away May 4, 2018.

He graduated from C. Leon King High School, Tampa , Fl in 1962. He served during the Vietnam War as an air traffic controller in the U. S. Air Force. As a graduate of the University of Kentucky class of 1977, he purchased the Southern Biscuit Co. (now known as the Jackson Biscuit Co.), as the sole owner in 1977 from the late Nancy Elanore Jones. John retired from Town & Ranch Paints, Color & Supply in 2008.

He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Judy Williams Jackson; his son John David Jackson, Jr.; his sister Sue Ellen (Richard) Meyer of Creve Coeur, Mo.; his brother Tom (Debbie) Jackson of Tampa, Fl.; an aunt, Emily Jackson of Union City, Tn., and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

Memorial services to be held Saturday, May 26, 2018, at 3:00 pm. at 725 Terry Dr., Winchester. Open to friends and family.
