CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Richard S. Gussler, 40, of 132A Heather Lane, was charged Friday with fourth-degree assault.

Accidents

— At 6:36 p.m. Friday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Becknerville Road in which David A. Wilson of Lexington was turning left from McClure Road and did not see an oncoming vehicle. The other driver, Mary J. Coyotzi of 205 Sterling St., said the other vehicle pulled out in front of her and she could not stop in time. Both Wilson and Coyotzi were transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— During the weekend, EMS personnel responded to 29 general medical calls, two cardiac cases, three respiratory cases, one diabetic case, one seizure and one overdose.

— At 7:13 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Highland and Broadway streets.

— At 4:49 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at the 10 mile marker on the Mountain Parkway.

— At 6:36 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Becknerville and McClure roads.

— At 10:53 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Lexington Avenue and Stamper Drive.

— At 4:45 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at 118 E. Lexington Ave.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 4:49 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at the 10 mile marker on the Mountain Parkway.

— At 5:14 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 1449 Cabin Creek Road.

— At 6:36 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on Becknerville Road.

— At 4:11 p.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 550 Agawam Road.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Zachary Taylor Clark, 27, was charged Sunday with driving a vehicle with expired registration and theft by unlawful taking.

— Wayne Combs, 54, was charged Friday with theft by unlawful taking, second-degree fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

— David Fitzgerald Cooper, 54, was charged Friday with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— Paris Lee Green, 31, was charged Sunday with tehft by unlawful taking.

— Eric Jerome Hatton, 43, was charged Saturday with public intoxication, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, third-degree possession of a controlled substance and receiving stolen property.

— Barry G. Lambert, 52, was charged Saturday with violation of an EPO/DVO and alcohol intoxication.

— Daniel P. Pelfrey, 39, was charged Friday with driving under the influence and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.
