Michael Clay Stamper, 50, of Winchester, husband of Cynthia Williams Stamper, passed away, Thursday, May 24, 2018 at his residence.

Michael was born on March 6, 1968 in Clark County to Delores McCuddy Stamper and the late William Fulton Stamper. He was retired from Leggett & Platt after 27 years of employment.

In addition to his loving wife and mother, survivors include, one daughter, Holly Marie Stamper; two sons, Stephen Ballard and Anthony Ballard; three grandchildren, Ivy Ballard, Saige Ballard and Archer Ballard; two brothers, Charles Stamper and Bob Stamper.

In addition to his father, Michael was preceded in death by his late wife, Sarah Jane Stamper and his maternal and paternal grandparents.

Services will be held at 10:00AM, on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at Franklin Avenue Church of The Living God by Pastors Tom Hall and Mike Smith. Burial will follow in Clarmont Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Steve Patrick, Seth McCuddy, Paul Merritt, Norm Bush, John Neal and John Ray Neal.

Visitation will be held on Monday, May 28, 2018 from 5:00-7:00PM at the church. Scobee Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
