— Winchester-Clark County Farmers’ Market Kids Day, 8 a.m. to noon. Every child age 13 and under (first come, first served) will receive $10 in vouchers to use on any future farmers’ market day in the 2018 season. Vouchers are valid on fruits, vegetables and select other items at the market. Event includes food tastings, face painting and entertainment. Every child will also go home with a free vegetable plant to start their own home garden.

— Plant Walk, 10 a.m. at Fort Boonesborough State Park. Locate, identify and discuss plants and their uses. Plants discussed will vary. Look at foraging for culinary, medical or natural dyes use. Free with regular admission to the fort. Wear walking shoes.
