The Clark County Fiscal Court Fund Committee has announced its giving plan for 2018.
Any nonprofit organization serving Clark County is eligible to apply.
Applications became available June 1 online atclarkcoky.com, teach.clarkschools.net/Depts/CommEd, bgcf.org/clarkcounty and at the Clark County judge-executive’s office in the courthouse.
The applications will also be distributed via the Clark County Human Services Council listserv, Chamber of Commerce newsletter and the mayor’s e-line.
Applications must be submitted in-person by 4 p.m. Aug. 1 to the judge-executive’s office. Applications will be disqualified if not hand delivered by the due date. No other method — not email, fax or US mail -— will be accepted.
Requesters must sign and date the sign-in sheet in the judge-executive’s office as proof of delivery.
A Grant Report Form is included with the application, for agencies who received funding in September 2017 to report their expenses to date.
The Fiscal Court Fund Committee will review the applications in August and September, meeting with any requesting organizations as they determine necessary. Their findings will be presented to the Clark County Fiscal Court in September and grants will be awarded no later than Nov. 1.
All grantees will be required to complete a Grant Report Form near the end of the funding period. This will help determine funding for the next grant year.
