WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— Over the weekend, emergency medical services responded to 28 general medical calls, five cardiac cases, two respiratory cases, one diabetic case and one overdose.

— At 8:28 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a false alarm sounding at 1465 W. Lexington Ave.

— At 11:38 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a false alarm sounding at 1225 Enterprise Drive.

— At 3:59 p.m. Saturday, firefighters extinguished a mulch fire at 1607 Bypass Road.

— At 4:10 p.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted Clark County Fire on the scene of a fire at 6169 Lexington Road. The assistance efforts lasted throughout the weekend.

— At 1:13 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a false alarm at 5799 Rockwell Road.

— At 3:59 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to vehicle accident at the 91-mile marker of Interstate 64 eastbound.

— At 4:38 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a vehicle accident at Maple and Sycamore streets.

— At 7:43 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a vehicle accident at the 95-mile marker of Interstate 64 westbound.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Alicia Wagner, 48, of Mount Sterling, and Anthony Scott Hisle, 33, of 360 Hill St. in Winchester, were arrested Thursday and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine, first offense). Deputies responded to a call at 5 p.m. Thursday to Lykins Park concerning a vehicle parked with its hood up, a woman walking around it and a male passed out in the passenger’s seat. Deputies found Wagner sitting in front of the vehicle on the ground and Hisle sleeping in the front seat. The deputies saw two syringes in the center console, one with a clear liquid and the other with a brown liquid that was identified as methamphetamine with a field test. Inside the vehicle, deputies found a woman’s eyeglass case containing a syringe, a small circular container and a small bag with a white crystal substance that tested positive as methamphetamine. Wagner told deputies the items in the eyeglass case belonged to a friend who was in the vehicle a few days prior to the incident.

Reports

— At 7:29 a.m. Thursday, deputies took a report of text messages alleging sexual abuse from an unknown number in Western Kentucky. Deputies called the number, but a voicemail box was not setup. The investigation remains open.

— At 4:56 p.m. Friday, deputies responded to 861 Cunningham Lane concerning the theft of a tire from a vehicle overnight.

— At 10:19 p.m. Friday, deputies responded to 220 Athens-Boonesboro Road in reference to a customer making threats to an employee.

— At 10:22 a.m. Saturday, Deputy Karl Rifenbark located a motorcycle on the side of Bypass Road. When the VIN number was entered, Rifenbark determined the motorcycle was reported stolen from Lexington. The motorcycle had been painted black over blue, was damaged and was missing multiple parts.

Accidents

— At 9:40 p.m. Saturday, deputies responded to a non-injury accident on eastbound U.S. 60 in which a 2007 Chevy Silverado driven by Micah Goldey, 20, of 309 Abbeywood Drive, collided with a deer.

— At 3:58 p.m. Saturday, deputies responded to an injury accident on the 90-mile marker on eastbound Interstate 64 in which Allen Gibson, 47, of Waddy, lost control of the 2006 Chevy Trail Blazer he was driving. Gibson said the vehicle began to hydroplane, went into a tail spin off the side of the road, flipped and rolled into a ditch. Gibson and two passengers, Lavonso Francis, 51, of 8 Lexington Ave., and Carrie Purcell, 41, of 680 Red River Road, were transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

— At 1:25 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a report of the odor of gas in the area of Ironworks and Stoner-Ephesus roads.

— At 4:06 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a fire at Stuff Recycling.

— At 4:35 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a second alarm at Stuff Recycling.

— At 10:48 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a false alarm sounding at 5799 Rockwell Road, Southern State Cooperative.

— At 11:20 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a false alarm sounding at 5799 Rockwell Road, Southern State Cooperative.

— At 1:14 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a false alarm sounding at 5799 Rockwell Road, Southern State Cooperative.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Natasha Blanton, 21, was charged Saturday with second-degree disorderly conduct.

— Brendan Boozer, 21, was charged Friday with improper equipment.

— Roy Eugene Dickerson, 44, was charged Sunday with second-degree criminal trespassing.

— Zhasia Jenkins, 19, was charged Saturday with second-degree disorderly conduct.

— Jerry Wayne Johnson, 57, was charged Sunday with public intoxication (alcohol).

— Marc Alec Kendall, 22, was charged Saturday with reckless driving, second-degree disorderly conduct and motor vehicle running while unattended.

— Adrian Vidal Lopez, 49, was charged Saturday with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or drugs (first offense), no operator’s license and disregarding a traffic control device.

— Kimmaire Sellers, 28, was charged Saturday with improper registration plate, operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license and failure of owner to maintain insurance (first offense).

— Joshua Whitehead, no age given, was charged Saturday with no or expired registration plate.

— Bria Chelsie Wise, 23, was charged Sunday with public intoxication of a controlled substance.

Reports

— At 7:25 a.m. Friday, officers responded to the area of Washington and Second streets in reference to two tractor trailers stuck near Second and Third streets.

— At 10:12 a.m. Friday, officers responded to 3 Cook Ave. concerning a stolen lawn mower.
