Floral design classes offered

The Clark County Extension Service will host a free six-week floral design program this summer. The series will cover the basics of floral design from terminology to methods and marketing.

Participants will make four designs, which can be taken home following the sessions.

The sessions are as follows:

— “Intro to Floral Design,” Tuesday, June 26

— “Bud Vase Design,” Tuesday, July 3

— “Symmetrical Triangle Design,” Tuesday, July 10

— “Inverted T Design,” Monday, July 16

— “Silk Arrangement,” Tuesday, July 24

— Field trip, Tuesday, July 31

All classes are at 6 p.m. at the Clark County Extension Office, 1400 Fortune Drive.  The program is limited to 25 participants on a  first-come, first-served basis. There is a 10 participant minimum required.
