SOAP SHOP: CCCS hosting soap-making classes

Instead of using premade laundry flakes, some participants grated soap as a replacement during the “Make Your Own Laundry Detergent” class at Clark County Community Services.

Fifteen participants learned how to make their own laundry detergent Tuesday at a class hosted by Clark County Community Services and taught by Jennifer Havens.
Another class will be offered at 6 p.m. Monday. Call 859-744-5034 to reserve a spot. The class is free and participants will go home with a large bucket of laundry detergent.
