Clark health dept. names new director

The Clark County Board of Health officially welcomed Rebecca Kissick-Hake as the new director of Administrative Services at the Clark County Health Department and Home Health Agency in its meeting Thursday.

Kissick-Hake will start July 1. Kissick-Hake  was previously the administrative manager at the Education and Workforce Development Branch of the Kentucky Department for Public Health since 2014.

She has also worked as the director of administration for Prevent Child Abuse Kentucky and has worked with the University of Kentucky as part of a federal work study to provide additional resources and services with Fayette County Public Schools.  Kissick-Hake  also worked as a case manager with Treatment Alternatives to Street Crimes (TASC).

Also in its meeting, the board also approved its 2018 Fiscal Year budget along with a 3 percent salary increase for its employees. The board also approved not raising the tax rate.
