WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Wednesday, EMS personnel responded to 14 general medical calls, two cardiac cases, two respiratory cases and two overdoses.

— At 11:24 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 1225 Enterprise Drive. It was a false alarm.

— At 11:55 a.m,. Wednesday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident on Interstate 64 near the 94 mile marker.

— At 4:21 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Boonesboro and Old Boonesboro roads.

— At 6:14 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to a trash fire at 155 Magnolia St.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Johnny Wayne Christopher, 23, was charged Wednesday with third-degree assault.

— John Isaac Huguely, 56, was charged Wednesday with second-degree robbery and tampering with physical evidence.

— Brittany N. Sowers, 33, was charged Wednesday with possession of drug paraphernalia, prescription controlled substance not in proper container and was served a warrant.

Reports

— At 12:42 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to Clark Regional Medical Center, 175 Hospital Drive, concerning a person causing problems. Johnny Wayne Christopher was arrested and charged with third-degree assault.

— At 10:50 a.m. Wednesday, officers took a report concerning a person who put a drill bit through a tire.

— At 11:33 a.m. Wednesday, officers took a report concerning an assault.

— At 4:09 p.m. Wednesday, officers took a report concerning a forgery complaint.

— At 7:13 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 1215 W. Lexington Ave. concerning a theft. John Isaac Huguely was arrested and charged with second-degree robbery and tampering with physical evidence.
