Services at Liberty Bible Church of God
Services at Liberty Bible Church God are as follows: Sunday School, 9:30 a.m.; Sunday church services, 10:30 a.m.; Sunday evening Bible study, 6 p.m.; and youth group, 5 to 7 p.m. Sundays. Interim pastor is Jerry Owen. Guest speaker is Brock Barnhouse.
Services at Salem Church at Pine Grove
“Our hearts are restless, O Lord,” St. Augustine is quoted as saying, “Until they find their rest in You.” This Sunday the folks at Salem Church at Pine Grove, 312 Combs Ferry Road, will hear more about satisfying the hunger of the soul. Worship at “The Small Country Church with a Big Heart for Jesus” begins at 11 a.m.
Services at First
Services at First Presbyterian Church, 130 Windridge Drive, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Sunday school classes for children, youth and adults begin at 9:30 a.m. Sundays. Junior high and high school youth groups meet from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Sundays. All are welcome. Contact the church office at 744-3722 for more information.
Food pantry at First Baptist Church
First Baptist Church, 37 N. Highland St., will open a food pantry in partnership with God’s Pantry from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Saturday at the church. The pantry will be open to those in need and for donations from the community. For more information, call the church at 744-6624.
