WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Thursday, EMS personnel responded to eight general medical calls, two cardiac cases and one stroke.

— At 6:34 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to 37 Sterling St. for a downed power line.

— At 7:28 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to 1988 Bypass Road for a downed power line.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 6:41 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to a downed power line at Schollsville and L&E Junction roads

— At 8:04 p.m. Thursday, firefighters were called to 257 Cook Ave. for a smell of smoke.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Carol Jean Chandler, 21, was charged Thursday with theft by unlawful taking and third-degree criminal trespassing.

Reports

— At 11:18 a.m. Thursday, officers took a report after someone broke into a residence and stole items from packages.

— At 2:54 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning a suspected shoplifter. Carol Jean Chandler was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking and third-degree criminal trespassing.

— At 4:05 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 1324 Dale Drive after someone took a firearm from a vehicle.

— At 4:54 p.m. Thursday, officers took a report concerning a dispute between neighbors.

— At 7:04 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to Clark Regional Medical Center, 175 Hospital Drive, concerning a vehicle damaged by a water storage container.

— At 10:01 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 506 Westwood Drive after a man pulled a gun on the caller.

— At 10:04 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 340 Orange Ave. concerning an assault.
