Chapter 1828 of the National Active and Retired Federal Employees Association (NARFE) met Tuesday, June 28, at Taste of China.

Denver Parks, chapter president, shared important information about congressional legislation that could affect federal employees and retirees.

Present for the meeting were Elizabeth Bunch, Betty Hollon, Will Bentley, Cindy Bentley, Phyllis Henderson, Lila Omohundro, Gayle Rees, Charlotte Rees, Herman Butler, Nancy Butler, Pat Gibbs, Jean Brandenburg, Janice Taulbee, Wanda Bachman, Parks and Juanita Christian.

The next meeting will be at noon Tuesday, July 24, at Taste of China.

The guest speaker will be Jeff Lewis, executive director of Winchester-Clark County Parks and Recreation.
