Pancake breakfast at Epperson COG

Epperson First Church of God on Kentucky 89 will have a fundraiser pancake breakfast from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Sunday at the church. For more information, call 859-398-0020.

VBS at Heritage Baptist Church

Heritage Baptist Church, 4369 Lexington Road, will host vacation Bible school from 6 to 8:30 p.m. nightly July 23 to July 27. The theme is “Game On!” The week will be all preparing for the “big game,” and participants will learn God has given them everything they need through his divine power. Each day participants will make crafts, play games, have snacks, sing and learn about missions. Register at the church.

Life Christian University orientation meeting

There will be an informational meeting and orientation of Life Christian University Winchester at 6:30 p.m. Monday, July 16, at Bluegrass Community and Technical College, 2020 Rolling Hills Lane. LCU Winchester is a debt-free, pay-as-you-go program offering degrees in theology. Classes are offered one night per week (Mondays) at the BCTC Winchester-Clark County Campus. Tribute Quartet at Providence Baptist

The Tribute Quartet will perform at 7 p.m. Thursday, July 19, at Providence Baptist Church, 6543 Old Boonesboro Road. The concert is free and a love offering will be accepted.

Food pantry at First Baptist Church

First Baptist Church, 37 N. Highland St., will open a food pantry in partnership with God’s Pantry from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Saturday at the church. The pantry will be open to those in need and for donations from the community. For more information, call the church at 744-6624.

Luncheon at Broadway Baptist

Broadway Baptist Church, 121 W. Broadway St., will have a Voices of Praise luncheon at noon Saturday.

Services at Salem Church at Pine Grove

Few, if any, of us likes to be told no. But it can sometimes be a positive thing. Hear more about it this Sunday at Salem Church at Pine Grove, 312 Combs Ferry Road. Worship at the “Small Country Church with a Big Heart for Jesus” begins at 11 a.m.

Services at First Presbyterian Church

Services at First Presbyterian Church, 130 Windridge Drive, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Worship will be lively and traditional. Come dressed casual or formal, but more importantly, come expecting to be moved by the Spirit. Sunday school classes for children, youth and adults begin at 9:30 a.m. Sundays.
