Clark man charged with incest, rape

A Winchester man was arrested on rape and incest charges Wednesday after allegedly having intercourse with a 14-year-old girl.
Edward White, 41, of 44 Lincoln St., was arrested by Winchester Police on charges of third-degree rape and incest.
According to the arrest citation, the victim said it had occurred multiple times. The citation noted another person witnessed one instance on June 1.
The investigation was opened Tuesday, and White was arrested Wednesday afternoon at the Winchester Police Department, according to court records.
White is being held in the Clark County Detention Center on a $100,000 cash bond.
Incest is a class B felony with a penalty of 10 to 20 years upon conviction, while third-degree rape is a class D felony with a sentence of one to five years for a conviction.
