William “Billy” C. Harper, Sr., 86, husband of Eunice Moseley Harper, passed away on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Saint Joseph East Hospital.

He was born in Bath County, KY, on July 15, 1931, to the late Stanley C. and Nell Tipton Harper. Mr. Harper was a United States Army Veteran of the Korean War and a member of Ark of Mercy Church of the Living God. 

In addition to his loving wife of 67 years, he is survived by two sons, William C. (Janice) Harper, Jr. and Roy Lee (Teresa) Harper; three grandchildren, Gary Lee “Beep” (Britney) Harper, Tina K. Harper-Morguson-Howard and Joey Harper; five great grandchildren, Brandon Morguson, Jennifer Morguson, Lyndsay Howard, Paxton Harper and Presley Harper. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Nella Mae Glover. 

Services will be at 1:00PM, Saturday, July 14, 2018 at Ark of Mercy by Pastor Janice Claypoole. Scobee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will be in Clarmont Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Stamper, Norman Hampton, Blake Watts, Johnny Palmer, Russell Willoughby, James Willoughby, Billy Roland, David Roland and Wiley Pelfrey. Honorary pallbearers will be Bill Claypool, Gary Willoughby, Berl Perdue, Jimmy Fulks, Tater Sparks, Allen Howard, Gary Smith, Joe Richardson and Johnny Prewitt. 

Visitation will be from 10:30AM until time of service on Saturday.
