CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Johnny Jarrett, 23, of 195 China Place, was charged Saturday with third-degree assault and alcohol intoxication.

Reports

— At 12:11 a.m. Saturday, off-duty deputies were at the Waterfront Cafe, 220 Athens Boonesboro Road, concerning a person starting a fight. Deputies separated the two subjects and escorted one of them outside. The second person came outside and started yelling at the suspect, identified as Johnny Jarrett, who pushed the one deputy to the ground and later attacked the other, leaving several marks. Jarrett was intoxicated and was arrested for third-degree assault and alcohol intoxication.

— At 1:53 p.m. Sunday, deputies were called to Clark Regional Medical Center, 175 Hospital Drive, concerning an assault which occurred at 1335 Clintonville Road

Accidents

— At 3:56 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Paris Road in which Estill L. Greer of Georgetown was driving north when his vehicle hydroplaned in a curve. Greer lost control and struck four other vehicles. One of the other drivers, Lethaniel D. Gitch of Dade City, Florida, was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

— At 10:16 p.m. Saturday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Pilot View Road in which Wanda Estes of 3995 Iron Works Road was driving on a scooter and pulling someone on a bicycle with a rope. A deer ran across the road and collided with the scooter, ejecting Estes and her passenger, Gary Brown of 17 New St. The person on the bicycle, Ronnie Crowe of 3995 Iron Works Road, struck the scooter and was ejected as well. All three were transported to the hospital with unspecified injuries.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— During the weekend, EMS personnel responded to 42 general medical calls, eight cardiac cases, six respiratory cases, one diabetic case, one stroke and one seizure.

— At 11:05 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at West Lexington Avenue and Carol Road.

— At 11:25 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at 2500 Colby Road.

— At 10:12 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Iron Works and Pilot View roads.

— At 3:56 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at 3400 Paris Road.

— At 7:29 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a smell of gas in a building at 250 Oxford Drive.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Jessica Lakes, 23, was charged Sunday with public intoxication, possession of marijuana, second-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— Joseph Bernard Slone, 25, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence.

Reports

— At 2:44 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 256 Boone Ave. after someone broke into a garage and took several items.

— At 6:34 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 113 S. Burns Ave after a vending machine was damaged and money was taken.

— At 10:09 a.m. Saturday, officers took a report concerning an emergency protection order.

— At 7:44 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 15 Sterling St. for a domestic disturbance.

— At 9:18 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to 19 Alabama St. after three bicycles were stolen.

— At 10:41 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to 19 Rowland Ave. after someone broke into an outbuilding and took a weed trimmer, crossbow and other items.

— At 10:54 a.m. Sunday, officers took a report concerning an emergency protection order.

— At 2:51 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 15 Taylor Ave. concerning a stolen bicycle.

— At 4:02 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 27 W. Broadway St. concerning a person making threats.

— At 8:32 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 104 Pedro Way concerning a theft of memory cards and a USB cord.

— At 10:40 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 806 Westwood Drive concerning an assault.

Accidents

— At 11:24 a.m. Friday, officers responded to an injury accident on Colby Road in which Michelle Shepherd of Irvine was turning into the First Church of God parking lot in front of an oncoming vehicle, driven by Tyelur Vince of Lexington. Vince was transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center and Shepherd was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries. Vince’s passenger Phillip Junkin was not injured.
