Coffee-lovers will soon have another drive-thru option to get their fix.

A drive-thru Starbucks is coming to Winchester between Caudill Drive and Applebee’s and is slated to open this winter, according to Starbucks Media Relations officials.

Todd Denham, executive director at the Winchester-Clark County Industrial Development Authority, confirmed a Starbucks has been approved for Winchester. Denham said the plan had been in the process for “quite some time.”

Construction is in its early phases. The 2,200 sq. ft location will offer Nitro Cold Brew  drinks as well, the Starbucks media team said in an email.

“Starbucks is always looking for great locations to better meet the needs of our customers, and we are happy to confirm that we will be opening a new location on US 60 & Caudill Drive in Winchester,” Starbucks officials said in an email.
