Paul J. Weber, 84, passed away Aug. 1, 2018.
Born on April 25, 1934 in Altoona, PA, to the late Thelma Weber Yost of Ashville, PA, he was the loving husband to Sally Weber and the father of Joseph (Kathy), Michael, Joyce (Pete) Neff, Judi Blakeman, James Weber and Nancy Lund. He is also survived by his sister, Susan (Fran) Merriman of Ashville, PA and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves behind 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was the founder and owner of the Weber Machine Company, a retiree from Rockwell International and as the Plant Engineer for the Freeman Corporation. He was a member of several organizations and clubs. He was self-taught and had several interests. Paul believed in hard work and fair play and instilled these traits in his children. He was an accomplished private pilot, entrepreneur, engineer, designer, machinist, woodworker, photographer, cinematographer, motorcyclist and inventor.
He will be greatly missed by his family and anyone who knew him.
At this time, arrangements are being planned for a celebration of life gathering.
