WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Wednesday, EMS personnel responded to five general medical calls, one cardiac case, one respiratory case, one seizure and one overdose.

— At 6:39 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident near 3000 Boonesboro Road.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 10:05 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at 9840 Mount Sterling Road.

— At 2:49 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 850 Bypass Road.

— At 3:55 a.m. Thursday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 5100 Revilo Road.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Accidents

— At 10:02 a.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Mount Sterling Road in which Amy Spencer of Mount Sterling lost control of her vehicle in a curve. It went off the road, into a ditch and overturned several times. Spencer and her passenger Parker McKeehan were transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

— At 6:39 a.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Boonesboro Road in which a garbage truck driven by James C. Wilson of Mount Sterling slowed to turn left into a driveway. The truck was struck from behind by a van driven by Lee H. Fox of 195 Center Drive. Firefighters extricated Fox from his van before he was transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center with unspecified injuries. Lee told deputies he did not see the stopped garbage truck in front of him.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Crystal Armstrong, 28, was charged Wednesday with third-degree assault.

— David Allen Farmer, 42, was charged Wednesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and was served a warrant.

— Oscar Lopez Morales, 41, was charged Wednesday with no operator’s license, driving under the influence and careless driving.

Reports

— At 2:27 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 714 Pear Court concerning the theft of a phone.

— At 9:21 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 2 Seminole Trail after someone broke into a residence.

— At 10:40 a.m. Wednesday, officers took a report concerning a watch which was found at Winchester Insurance Agency.
