Nancye Ruth Haggard Erwin Grigalis, 77, adamantly adored wife of Zigurds Edgar Grigalis, passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 following a long-term illness but comforted throughout by loving family and friends.

Nancye and Zig were active historical preservationists dedicated to the restoration of homes and farms in upstate New York, Philadelphia, and especially the Lexington and Frankfort area. In 2006, Nancye and Zig were recognized by Kentucky Trust for Historic Preservation for the restoration of the Governor William Owsley House and John Goodman House, Frankfort, KY. Additionally, she was a former PNC bank employee and long-time office manager for Grigalis Group Architects.
