Peggy Haggard Stanfield, 71, wife of David Stanfield, passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Fountain Circle Care and Rehab.
A native of Winchester, Kentucky, she was born on September 10, 1946, to the late James and Elizabeth Haggard. She was a homemaker and a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband of 51 years, she is survived by one daughter, Davida (Chad) Abner; one brother, Edward Haggard; four sisters, Eleanor Cravens, Faye Morton, Judy Morton and Wanda “Billie” Johnson; four grandchildren, Lela Eggen-Hernandez, Adrianna Hernandez, Leslie Hernandez and Carla Hernandez; a special niece, Sheila Howard; special friends, JoAnna and Margaret Falk, Liz Whisman, Kathy Whiteman and Dr. Anita Gray; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services will be at 10:00AM, Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Scobee Funeral Home by Pastors Ron Montgomery and Jesse Kline. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Tim Graul, Rufus Cravens, Laken Neal, John Stanfield, Heath Neal and Harold Howard. Honorary pallbearers will be Dorothy Chism. JoAnna Falk, Margaret Falk, Carlos Hernandez, Norma Hernandez, Cliff and Bonnie Estill.
Visitation will be Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 5:00-7:00PM at Scobee Funeral Home.
