David A. Banks, 57, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018 at his home.

He was born in Campton, KY, on July 4, 1961, to Carl Lee Banks and the late June Young Banks. He was a carpenter, a member of Ruckerville Church of Christ and a veteran of the United States Marines.

In addition to his father, he is survived by one sister, Vickie Burkhart; two brothers, Tim (Debbie) Banks of Perryville and Tony (Tina) Banks also of Winchester; one niece, Amanda ‘Mandy’ Hall; three nephews, Tanner Banks, Jake (Cara) O’Neill and Wes (Jordan) Banks; four great nieces and nephews, Maci O’Neill, Chase O’Neill, Preston Banks and Ima Grace Gibson; two special aunts, Shirley Taulbee, Lois ‘Tootsie’ Brewer; and one uncle, Albert Young.

Services will be at 11:00AM, Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Scobee Funeral Home by Bro. Dean Carpenter and Bro. Larry Deckard. Burial will be in Clarmont Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Tim Banks, Tony Banks, Jake O’Neill, Wes Banks, Tanner Banks and Chris Brewer. Honorary pallbearers will be Shirley Taulbee, Louis Brewer, Albert Young, Frank and Judy Hicks.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 8, 2018 from 6:00-8:00PM.
