City and county governments are coming together Tuesday for the annual joint meeting of the Clark County Fiscal Court and the Winchester Board of Commissioners.

The meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday at the Clark County Extension Office, 1400 Fortune Drive.

The two bodies have met in a joint session each year since Winchester Mayor Ed Burtner and Clark County Judge-Executive Henry Branham took office, as a way to discuss items of shared concern.

This year’s agenda includes presentations from Rachel Alexander and Todd Denham about downtown Winchester, from David Davis about the county’s extension services and Diana Sims of the Generations Center.

Past meetings have discussed EMS and

emergency services, parks and recreation and industrial development, among other topics.

The meeting is open to the public. The meeting is a special meeting for both entities, meaning discussion and action will be limited to the items on the published agenda.
