Kentucky State Police are searching for a Winchester man who escaped prison over the weekend.

Charles “Andy” Richards, 28, of Winchester, escaped from the Keeton Correctional Facility in Paducah around 8:30 p.m. Sunday.

Staff at the facility told police Richards was noticed missing after a head count Sunday evening.

Richards was serving time for manufacturing methamphetamine.

He is described as 5-foot-9-inches tall, with blonde hair and blue eyes. It is unknown what he was wearing at the time of his escape
