Robert Leland Sledd, 83, passed away on Sunday, August 19, 2018 at Clark Regional Medical Center in Winchester, KY.

He was born in Flemingsburg, KY, on January 23 1935, to the late John Nelson and Harriett Mae Proctor Sledd. Mr. Sledd was retired from TTI Railroad and a United States Air Force Veteran, where he served as a military policeman. He was a spiritual man with a strong faith in Jesus Christ and a member of the Church of the Living God.

Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Ann (William “Bill”) Marcus and Deborah Lynn Crawford; three grandchildren, Anthony Brian Crawford, Joshua Clayton (Marisha Hicks) Marcus and Whitney Brianne Marcus; and five great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Gordon, Jim and Ronald Sledd; two half siblings, Barbour Sledd and Lucille Simmons; son-in-law, Terry Crawford; and a granddaughter-in-law, Martha Crawford.

Services will be at 10:00AM, Friday, August 24, 2018 at the Church of the Living God by Pastor Tom Hall. Burial will follow at Elizaville Cemetery, 153 Hilltop Road, Ewing, KY 41039. Scobee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 23, 2018 from 6:00-8:00PM at the Church of the Living God, 114 Franklin Avenue, Winchester, KY 40391.
