Richard Lewis Miller, Lexington, passed away on Wednesday, August 22, 2018. He was born on January 12, 1969 to George Bruce Taylor Miller, Jr. and the late Linda Oaks Miller. He was also preceded in death by step-mother Donna Allen Miller; grandparents Roy and Della Oaks, and George Bruce and Elizabeth Miller. In addition to his father he is survived by family members, Taylor Miller of Lexington; Melissa Miller and Alex Garcia Franks of Bilbao, Spain; Annie and DJ Gabbard; John and Janis Allen; Nancy and Fielding Turner, and nephews Zack, Justin, Andrew Allen and Henry Turner, all of Winchester. Richard enjoyed traveling and visited Argentina, many European countries and Japan. He was an avid player of a wide range of games, including chess, Risk, cards, Dungeons and Dragons, to name a few. Additionally, he was an animal lover and had many different types of pets throughout his life. Visitation will be held at Rolan G Taylor Funeral Home (Winchester) on Tuesday, August 28, from 11:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. and the funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers are Chris Lanier, Jeff Vandierendonck, Chris Vandierendonck, John Berryman, James Blackwell, and Alex Garcia Franks.
