CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Braxton Townsend, 18, of 299 E. Washington St., was charged Saturday with driving under the influence.

— Mark T. Lindsay, 50, of Mount Sterling, was charged Saturday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Reports

— At 3 p.m. Friday, deputies were called to 230 Cook Ave. concerning a theft of a lawn mower.

— At 4:09 p.m. Saturday, deputies were called to the rest area on Interstate 64 concerning a suspicious vehicle and a person looking at an abandoned trailer. During a search, deputies and Winchester officers found suspected methamphetamine and a cut straw. Mark T. Lindsay was arrested on multiple charges.

Accidents

— At 10:06 a.m. Saturday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Irvine Road in which a vehicle driven by Jordan T. Sparks of Mount Sterling was traveling north when he hydroplaned, crossed the center line and struck a tree. Sparks was transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— During the weekend, EMS personnel responded to 26 general medical calls, three cardiac cases, four respiratory cases, one diabetic case, one seizure and one obstetric case.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 10:57 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a vehicle fire at the 99 mile marker on Interstate 64.

— At 6 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an emergency at 506 Pine Ridge Road.

— At 9:58 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 4385 Colby Road.

— At 10:08 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Irvine and Red River roads.

— At 11:42 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a fuel leak at the 101 mile marker of Interstate 64.

— At 8:42 a.m. Monday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Lulbegrud Road.

Charged

— Jeffrey W. Belcher, 49, was charged Friday with no or expired registration plate, failure to maintain insurance, driving on a DUI-suspended operator’s license and was served two warrants.

— Gary Ray Brown, 44, was charged Friday with no or expired registration plate, failure to maintain insurance and driving on a DUI-suspended operator’s license (second offense).

— Ashley Elizabeth Conner, 27, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence.

— David Christopher Crowell, 42, was charged Saturday with theft by unlawful taking.

— Zackary C. Farris 24, was charged Saturday with no or expired registration plate, failure to illuminate headlamps, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— Melannie Fraley, 19, was charged Saturday with theft by unlawful taking.

— Allen L. Frazier, 29, was charged Saturday with fourth-degree assault.

— John Eugene Lukasavage, 33, was cahrged Sunday with first-degree wanton endangerment.

— Casey L. Moore, 32, was charged Sunday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— Ricky Ray Poole, 59, was charged Sunday with third-degree sexual abuse.

— Roman Dale Smith, 38, was charged Sunday with second-degree burglary.

— Jennifer Lee Young, 37, was charged Friday with theft by unlawful taking.
