Revival at El-Bethel UMC

El-Bethel United Methodist Church will host revival at 7 p.m. nightly from Sept 13-15 with former pastor Randy Coy. There will be special music from The Graham Family on Saturday, Sept. 15. A homecoming service will begin at 11 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, with a potluck lunch to follow.

Services at Salem Church at Pine Grove

The congregation of Salem Church at Pine Grove, 312 Combs Ferry Road, will observe Labor Day by considering for the Christian, there is no division between the works of the world and the works of the Holy Spirit. They are all a part of the realm of God. Worship at the “Small Country Church with a Big Heart for Jesus” begins at 11 a.m. The sacrament of communion will be celebrated.

Services at First Presbyterian Church

Services at First Presbyterian Church, 130 Windridge Drive, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Worship will be lively and traditional. Come dressed casual or formal, but more importantly, come expecting to be moved by the Spirit. Sunday school classes for children, youth and adults begin at 9:30 a.m. Sundays. Junior high and high school youth groups meet from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Sundays. All are welcome. The Rev. Ryan Bradney is pastor. Call 744-3722 for more information.

Church in the Park by Salem Presbyterian

Salem Presbyterian Church at Pine Grove will host its annual Church In the Park at 11 a.m. Sept. 9 at College Park. There will be a morning worship service with prayers, songs and teaching led by Pastor Don Stanley. Following the service there will be a meal.

Services at Liberty Bible Church of God

Services at Liberty Bible Church God are: Sunday School, 9:30 a.m.; Sunday church services, 10:30 a.m.; Sunday evening Bible study, 6 p.m.; and youth group, 5 to 7 p.m. Sundays. Interim pastor is Jerry Owen. Guest speaker is Brock Barnhouse.

Food pantry at First Baptist Church

First Baptist Church, 37 N. Highland St., has a food pantry  from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church. The pantry will be open to those in need and for donations from the community. For more information, call the church at 744-6624.
