— Over the weekend, emergency medical services responded to 50 general medical calls, 10 cardiac cases, eight respiratory cases, three diabetic cases, one stroke, three seizures and two overdoses.

— At 6:36 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a vehicle fire at 620 N. Maple St.

— At 4:41 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an accident at the intersection of Bypass Road and McCormick Drive.

— At 12:29 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a false alarm sounding at 695 N. Main St.

— At 3:30 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an accident at the intersection of Bypass and Fulton roads.

— At 4:30 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an accident at the 94-mile marker of Intersection 64 eastbound.

Charged

— Paul Wynn, 26, of 26 Heather Lane, was charged Saturday with third-degree assault, resisting arrest, first-degree fleeing or evading police and was served two warrants.

— Thomas Sizemore, 41, of 121 Blakemore Lane, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence (second offense) and no registration plate.

— Brandon Adams, 29, of 107 Georgia St., was charged Monday with public intoxication, possession of methamphetamines and first-degree promoting contraband.

— Anthony Dale Perry, 36, of 5896 Schollsville Road, was charged Tuesday with second-degree forgery.

— At 5:10 p.m. Friday, deputies were called to 135 Cherokee Drive after someone broke a window at a residence with a rock.

— At 3:39 p.m. Sunday, deputies were called to 2600 Trapp Goffs Corner concerning a theft.

— At 9:44 a.m. Monday, deputies were called to the Clark County Detention Center, 30 Wall St., after deputy jailers found suspected methamphetamines during a search of Brandon Adams following his arrest.

— At 3:22 p.m. Saturday, deputies were called to 2144 Cole Road concerning an assault the previous day.

— At 9:22 a.m. Saturday, deputies were called to 314 Foxglove Lane after someone made changes to the caller’s cell phone plan without permission.

— At 3:57 p.m. Thursday, deputies were called to Interstate 64 near Winchester after a vehicle was damaged by debris from a trailer tire from another vehicle.

Accidents

— At 4:30 a.m. Sunday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Interstate 64 near the 94 mile marker in which Tyrone Tryone of Edward, North Carolina, was traveling east when a tire blew on his vehicle. The vehicle struck the center divider, crossed the eastbound lanes and went off the opposite side of the road. Tryone was transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center with serious injuries. Two other passengers, Trayoni Grimes and Monica Grimes, also of Edward, North Carolina, were transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 2:41 p.m. Thursday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 158 Clubhouse Drive.

— At 4:45 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to a fire at 6278 Mount Sterling Road.

— At 10:47 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a vehicle fire near the 9 mile marker on the Mountain Parkway.

— At 12:02 p.m. Friday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 1995 McClure Road.

— At 4:13 p.m. Friday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 312 Primrose Lane.

— At 5:42 p.m. Friday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 4777 Old Boonesboro Road.

— At 7:53 p.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 422 Mount Vernon Drive.
