— On Tuesday, EMS personnel responded to nine general medical calls, five cardiac cases, two respiratory cases, one seizure and two overdoses.

Charged

— Joshua Wayne Couch, 37, was charged Tuesday with fourth-degree assault.

— Eric Jerome Hatton 43, was charged Tuesday with theft by unlawful taking and third-degree criminal trespassing.

Reports

— At 2:46 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to Speedway, 1480 W. Lexington Ave., concerning an assault the previous day.

— At 6:27 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 225 Oxford Drive concerning a stolen vehicle.

— At 10:27 a.m. Tuesday, officers took a report concerning a theft.

— At 12:02 p.m. Tuesday, officers took a report concerning a theft.

— At 1:31 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 43 N. Maple St. for a fight in progress.

— At 3:20 p.m. Tuesday, officers took a report concerning a stolen laptop computer.

— At 6:13 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to Speedway, 39 S. Maple St., concerning a theft of food.

— At 7:48 p.m. Tuesday, officers took a report concerning a harassment complaint.

— At 9:09 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 126 Jefferson St. for a welfare check. Joshua Wayne Couch was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault.
