Roy D. Watts Sr, 84

Roy D. Watts Sr, 84, Husband of Alice M. Watts, passed away Monday, September 3, 2018 at the Clark Regional Medical Center.

He was born on November 26, 1933 in Harrodsburg, KY. to the late Ansel and Adeline Lawson Watts. He was a retired manager at Sears, was a coffee salesman, owner of X-Sell company, a bus driver for the Clark County School System and a driver for the Kentucky River Foothills. He was a Kentucky Colonel, a Kentucky Admiral, a Jaycee, a charter member of the Civitan Club, a member of the Clark County Association of Handicapped Citizens. Roy was an avid golfer and he held a black belt and was a karate instructor. He was a member of the Central Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife he is survived by one daughter, Jill Conway, one son, Roy “Ace” (Rita Campbell) Watts Jr. Three step children, Carol (Scott) Sidwell, Gregory Fuller and Paige Ritchie. Six grandchildren, five step grandchildren and seven step great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his two children, John D. “PaBoo” Watts and Christi Watts.

Services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, September 7, 2018 at Scobee Funeral Home by Reverend Lee Cruise burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Mark Watts, Tommy Wilson, John Wilson, Steven Duncan, Philip Watts and Gage Watts.

Visitation is Friday, 12:00 PM until the time of the service.
