Charged

— Joseph D. Angel, 45, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence and no or expired registration plate.

— Katey M. Barrett, 27, was charged Sunday with possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and first-degree promoting contraband.

— Phillip Scott Brandenburg, no age given, was charged Saturday with second-degree cruelty to animals.

— Mark A Brewer, 48, was charged Sunday with possession of drug paraphernalia and was served a warrant.

— Robert Keith Byrd, 41, was charged Sunday with possession of burglary tools and was served a warrant.

— Clyde Ransom Catterson, 52, was charged Saturday with theft by unlawful taking.

— Johnny Wayne Christopher, 23, was charged Saturday with theft by unlawful taking-auto (two counts).

— Preston Daniel Gross, 29, was charged Sunday with first-degree wanton endangerment.

— Holly Lankford, 26, was charged Saturday with second-degree cruelty to animals.

— Lesa K. Mudd, 51, was charged Sunday as a fugitive from another state.

— Laura B. Purcell, 29, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence.

— Joseph Bernard Slone, 25, was charged Sunday with alcohol intoxication and possession of marijuana.

— Amaahd S. Smith, 21, was charged Friday with no or expired registration plate, failure to maintain insurance, driving under the influence and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.

— Larry Lykins, 49, was charged Monday with theft by unlawful taking $500 or more, failure to appear, fugitive from another state and contempt of court

— Jessica Olinger, 35, was charged Monday with public intoxication of a controlled substance.

— Randall Smith, 29, was charged Monday with first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (second or greater offense), buying or possessing drug paraphernalia, third-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified) and possession of marijuana.

— At 10:26 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning a theft involving the caller’s credit card information.

— At 11:58 a.m. Thursday, officers took a report concerning an identity theft.

— At 12:17 p.m. Thursday, officers took a report concerning tires being slashed on a vehicle.

— At 5:48 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to Lexington Avenue and Wall Street concerning a stolen vehicle.

— At 8:13 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to Lexington Avenue and Hopkins Lane for a fight in progress involving three people.

— At 5:19 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning a theft.

— At 9:06 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to Rural King, 951 Bypass Road, concerning a theft. Clyde Ransom Catterson, 52, was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.

— At 2:57 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to Speedway, 39 S. Maple St., for a fight in progress involving a juvenile and a knife. Preston Daniel Gross was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment and Joseph Slone was arrested and charged with alcohol intoxication and possession of marijuana.

— At 12:42 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 256 S. Highland St. for a domestic disturbance.

— At 5:03 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 129 Stevenson Heights concerning suspected drug activity. Katey Barrett and Mark Brewer were arrested on multiple charges.

— At 7:15 p.m. Sunday, officers took a report concerning a person making a death threat.

— At 7:42 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 31 Elizabeth St. concerning a theft of tools.

— At 11:33 a.m. Monday, officers responded to 215 Winn Ave. concerning a tree that fell onto a truck during a storm.

— At 12:22 p.m. Monday, officers responded to 508 College St. concerning terroristic threatening.

— At 1:33 p.m. Monday, officers responded to 125 W. Hickman St. concerning a domestic dispute.

— At 1:56 p.m. Monday, officers responded to 45 Memorial Park concerning vandalism. The caller said she came outside to find her car covered in ketchup and hot sauce.

— At 3:38 p.m. Monday, officers responded to 31 W. Broadway St. concerning a woman standing outside ranting and saying she was going to blow up the building.

— At 4:23 p.m. Monday, officers responded to 320 Essex Court concerning a theft.

— At 5:19 p.m. Monday, officers responded to a fight in progress at 1 Highland St.

— At 6;14 p.m. Monday, officers respond to 30 Wall St. concerning terroristic threatening.

— At 6:52 p.m. Monday, officers responded to 205 Winn Ave. concerning trespassing. The caller said a woman was on the property offering sex to people in the parking lot. She had been asked to leave and would not.

— At 7:35 p.m. Monday, officers responded to 595 Lillies Ferry Road concerning a domestic disturbance.

— At 10:10 p.m. Monday, officers responded to 107 Springmist Lane concerning a woman being assaulted.

— At 10:27 p.m. Monday, officers responded to 31 W. Broadway St. concerning public intoxication.

— At 10:54 p.m. Monday, officers responded to 1467 W. Lexington Ave. concerning people sleeping in the Uhauls at the location.

Accidents

— At 8:30 a.m. Thursday, officers responded to an injury accident on West Lexington Avenue in which Terri L. Tiberman of 227 Mutual Ave. was crossing from Taylor Avenue and pulled out in front of an oncoming vehicle, driven by Reginald L. Banks of Chattanooga, Tennessee. Tiberman was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

— At 4:44 p.m. Friday, officers responded to an injury accident at 225 Carolina Ave. in which Amaahd S. Smith of 310 Pepperwood St., struck a mailbox with his vehicle. A witness said Smith was traveling at a high rate of speed in a curve when he struck the mailbox. He was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center. He was later arrested for driving under the influence and other charges.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Monday, emergency medical services responded to 14 general medical call, three cardiac cases and one seizure.

— At 9:56 a.m. Monday, firefighters responded to a false alarm sounding at 1661 Bypass Road.

— At 10:36 a.m. Monday, firefighters responded to a false alarm sounding at 1221 Bypass Road.

— At 6:40 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at 2435 Combs Ferry Road.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Reports

— At 2:37 p.m. Sept. 4, deputies were called to 3 Lyndale Drive concerning a theft of medication.

— At 10:07 a.m. Saturday, deputies were called to Iron Works Road concerning a suspicious person walking back and forth along the road while talking to himself. The person was sweating and had dilated pupils. The person also pulled things out of his pockets, including a plastic bag with a crystal substance, which tested positive for methamphetamine. Christopher Bullock was arrested and charged with public intoxication and possession of methamphetamine.

— At 3:28 p.m. Saturday, deputies were called to 1283 Clintonville Road after someone entered a residence and took a wedding ring set.
