CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Accidents

— At 6:39 p.m. Monday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Combs Ferry Road in which a vehicle driven by Eduardo P. Florez went off the road and struck a tree head-on. It then spun around several times and went over an embankment. Florez and a passenger Jesus G.  Cruz were transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Tuesday, EMS personnel responded to 14 general medical calls and one respiratory case.

Charged

— Larry Lykins, no age given, was charged Tuesday as a fugitive from another state and was served a warrant.

Reports

— At 1:31 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to Washington and Jackson streets concerning a shooting. Ernesto Muniz-Batiz was arrested and charged with first-degree assault.

— At 2:14 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 20 S. Main St. concerning a stolen license plate.

— At 11:42 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to Speedway, 39 S. Maple St., concerning a counterfeit $20 bill.

— At 6:40 a.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 5980 Ecton Road.

— At 1 p.m. Monday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 4777 Old Boonesboro Road.

— At 4:14 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to a possible structure fire at 340 Schoolhouse Lane.

— At 6:07 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an investigation at Iron Works and Old Iron Works roads.

— At 6:40 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at 2345 Combs Ferry Road.

— At 5:25 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 6490 Van Meter Road.

— At 7:47 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 321 Venable Road.

— At 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 141 Woodford Drive.
