CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Jenaca Thomas, 24 of 2440 Muddy Creek Road, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence, no seat belt, no insurance, no registration, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and failure to notify state of address change.

— Christopher Galloway, 43, of 301 Tower Lane, was charged Sunday with fourth-degree assault.

— Jason Hamilton, 45, of 12812 Irvine Road, was charged Saturday with fourth-degree assault.

— Mitchell Turner, 22, of 226 Dry Ridge Road, was charged with second-degree fleeing or evading police.

Reports

— At 2:29 a.m. Saturday, deputies were called to 2755 Bittersweet Lane after two chain saws were stolen.

— At 7:44 p.m. Saturday, deputies were called to 517 Constitution Drive concerning a stolen bicycle.

— At 11:19 a.m. Sept. 11, deputies were called to 3448 Pine Ridge Road after someone shot a dog in the hip.

— At 11:44 p.m. Sunday, deputies were called to 12813 Irvine Road concerning an assault by a known male.

— At 8:44 p.m. Sunday, deputies were called to 4479 Muddy Creek Road concerning a theft of medication.

Accidents

— At 6:35 p.m. Saturday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Clintonville Road in which Michael J. See of 723 Williamsburg Drive turned left from Rockwell Road in front of an oncoming vehicle, driven by Kristopher P. Dunn of Paris. Dunn said he could not stop in time to avoid the collision. See and Dunn were transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— During the weekend, EMS personnel responded to 29 general medical calls, six cardiac cases, seven respiratory cases and one stroke.

— At 7:04 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a kitchen fire at 111 Georgia St.

— At 1:50 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a vehicle fire at 805 Country Club Court.

— At 2:30 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 50 N. Main St. It was a false alarm.

— At 10:25 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a gas leak at 300 Runnymeade Drive.

— At 6:35 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Rockwell and Clintonville roads.

— At 10:38 a.m. and 7:47 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 50 N. Main St. Both incidents were false alarms.

— Lafess Monzell Chenault, 31, was charged Friday with fourth-degree assault (two counts).

— Jerry Scott Combs, 48, was charged Saturday with theft by unlawful taking

— Candra N. Day, 38, was charged Friday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (two counts).

— Casey Joe Larrison, 35, was charged Sunday with hindering prosecution or apprehension.

— Leona Lynn Oney, 35, was charged Sunday with hindering prosecution or apprehension.

— William Bradley Robinson, 51, was charged Sunday with hindering prosecution or apprehension.

— Whitney Gale Tuttle, 25, was charged Sunday with hindering prosecution or apprehension.

— At 10:11 a.m. Friday, officers were called to 112 Linden Ave. after someone broke into a residence and stole tools.

— At 12:23 p.m. Friday, officers were called to Marathon, 1467 W. Lexington Ave., concerning a theft.

— At 3:52 p.m. Friday, officers took a report concerning a theft of checks.

— At 5:13 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 1320 Bypass Road after someone broke into a storage unit and took tools and cookware.

— At 5:45 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 120 Arlington Road concerning a woman who was slumped over. Candra Day was arrested and charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance (two counts).

— At 7:39 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 146 W. Hickman St. concerning a vandalism complaint after a vehicle was damaged.

— At 8:27 p..m. Friday, officers were called to 134 Linden Ave. after a truck window was broken.

— At 10:26 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 220 Oxford Drive concerning a stolen package containing a stroller.

— At 2:43 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to Phoenix House Apartments, 50 N. Main St., concerning a possible assault.

— At 3:58 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to Washington Street and Washington Square concerning an assault. Lafess Monzell Chenault was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault (two counts).

— At 7:43 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to 142 Franklin Ave. concerning a stolen vehicle.

— At 12:54 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to Speedway, 39 S. Maple St., concerning a theft. Jerry Scott Combs was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.

— At 1:45 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 76 Memorial Park for a fight in progress.

— At 2:02 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 8 Alabama St. concerning the theft of a handgun from a vehicle.

— At 3:41 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 150 Magnolia St. concerning the theft of a lawn mower, medication and a phone.

— At 3:46 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 27 E. Washington St. concerning a person causing problems.

— At 4:39 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 1215 W. Lexington Ave. concerning a counterfeit $100 bill.

— At 7:13 p.m. Friday, firefighters assisted Winchester Fire-EMS with a structure fire at 111 Georgia St.

— At 7:19 p.m. Friday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at Buffalo Trace.

— At 9:15 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 1226 Iron Works Road.

— At 1:19 p.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Glenway Road.

— At 6:35 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Rockwell and Clintonville roads.
