The following criminal cases were resolved in Clark Circuit Court Sept. 13, 2018, with Judge William Clouse presiding.

— James Allen, first-degree unlawful imprisonment, pleaded guilty, recommended one year; fourth-degree assault, pleaded guilty, recommended 90 days; first-degree sexual abuse, dismissed; first-degree persistent felony offender, dismissed; sentencing Oct. 18.

— Zachary S. Burgess, second-degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, pleaded guilty, sentenced to two years and one day; first-degree persistent felony offender, dismissed.

— Eric White, second-degree persistent felony offender, pleaded guilty, recommended one year, diverted for three years.

— Jonathan Brinegar, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (seven counts), pleaded guilty, recommended two years each, sentencing Oct. 18.

— Kayla Saylor, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, pleaded guilty, recommended two years and one day; second-degree persistent felony offender, dismissed; sentencing Oct. 18.

— Christopher Winkler, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance (two counts), pleaded guilty, sentenced to two years and one day concurrent; second-degree persistent felony offender, dismissed.

— James Simmons, first-degree sexual abuse, (two counts), pleaded guilty, sentenced to five years concurrent; use of a minor in a sexual performance, pleaded guilty, sentenced to five years concurrent.

— Penny Simmons, second-degree criminal abuse (two counts), pleaded guilty, sentenced to three years probation.

— William Hatton, second-degree escape, pleaded guilty, sentenced to two years and one day.

— Anthony R. Hill, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, pleaded guilty, sentenced to three years, probated to drug court.

— Anthony R. Hill, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, pleaded guilty, sentenced to three years, probated to drug court.

— Santana Townsend, probation violation, dismissed.

— Antonio Hooten, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, pleaded guilty, sentenced to three years; first-degree persistent felony offender, dismissed.
