SATURDAY, SEPT. 22

— Fall festival and vendor chili cookoff, 8 a.m. to noon at the Winchester-Clark County Farmers’ Market on Depot Street. There will be free hot apple cider, a fall basket giveaway, food tastings and kids activities. Taste chili made by local farmers and vote for your favorite.

— Adoption event, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at FairyTails Pet Spaw, 6049 Lexington Road. Visit with adoptable pets, take a “selphie” to help with social media exposure for the rescue, make a donation, raffles, sales and more. For more information, visit FairyTails Pet Spaw on Facebook.

— 11th annual “Friends of the Poor Walk,” 9 to 11 a.m., at College Park.
