CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Ryan Carbson, 27, of Lexington, was charged Tuesday with driving under the influence (second offense), driving on a suspended operator’s license, first-degree possession of a controlled substance and prescription controlled substance not in proper container.

— Jake Welch, 28, of 118 Central Ave., was charged Thursday with speeding, driving under the influence, careless driving, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Thursday, EMS personnel responded to 14 general medical calls, two cardiac cases, one respiratory case and one stroke.

— At 3:06 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident near the 93 mile marker on Interstate 64.

— On Wednesday, EMS personnel responded to 14 general medical calls, two cardiac cases, one respiratory case, one stroke and one overdose.

— At 5:49 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Veterans Memorial Bypass and Ironworks Road.

— At 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident on Colby Road.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 10:36 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at 624 Colby Road.

— At 6:33 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 12150 Irvine Road.

— At noon Thursday, firefighters were called to 5555 Rockwell Road for a report of smoke in the area.

— At 3:09 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on Interstate 64 near the 93 mile marker.

— At 9:47 p.m. Thursday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at 424 Lasalle Drive.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Jessica Gilvin, 26, was charged Wednesday with theft by unlawful taking.

— Steven McGuire, 36, was charged Wednesday with carrying a concealed deadly weapon.

— Bobby Street, 24, was charged Wednesday with fugitive from another state.

— Sherri Thornberry, 54, was charged Wednesday with theft by unlawful taking.

— James Scott Berryman, 22, was charged Thursday with alcohol intoxication and possession of marijuana.

— Derrick Scott Sparks, 23, was charged Thursday with fourth-degree assault.

Reports

— At 8:01 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to 1200 Dale Drive concerning a stolen wallet containing about $300.

— At 12:07 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 209 Boone Ave. concerning a contractor not completing work for which he was paid.

— At 12:40 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to 27 E. Washington St. concerning a stolen wheelchair.

— At 2:06 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded 1500 Boonesboro Road concerning mail stolen from the mailbox.

— At 6:45 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to 710 W. Lexington Ave. concerning a breaking and entering. The caller said someone possibly broke in using a credit or debit card and took a big screen TV, jewelry, two watches and power tools.

— At 8:48 p.m. Wednesday, officers took a report concerning an emergency protection order.

— At 8:56 p.m. Wednesday, officers took a report of a sexual assault which occurred in Frankfort.

— At 12:42 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to 1138 Dale Drive concerning a stolen or unauthorized use of a vehicle.

— At 4:17 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 535 E. Washington St. after a 2-year-old girl was walking outside a residence wearing only a diaper.

— At 4:56 p.m. Thursday, officers took a report concerning a stolen phone.

— At 9:12 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 632 Market St. for a domestic disturbance. Derrick Scott Sparks was arrested and charged with fourth-degree assault.
