Sudie “Sue” Mae Epperson Raney, 91, widow of Marcus Lisle Raney, Sr., passed away on Wednesday, September 26, 2018.

She was born in Indiana, on January 5, 1927, to the late Sidney and Isabelle Ragland Epperson. She was the first female manager for Southern States, Carlisle, KY, and later retired, after many years of service. Mrs. Raney was a proud FFA Sponsor and loved flowers.

She is survived by three children, Susan Lynn Raney Noel, Marcus Lisle (Sue) Raney, Jr. and Phyllis (Robert Jr.) Hart; nine grandchildren, Marcus Lisle (Kim) Raney III, Wesley Nelson Raney, Kyle Ashley (Brooke) Raney, Ashley Lynne Noel (Daniel) Craig, Taylor Alan (Devan) Noel, Benjamin Marcus Noel, Tara Nicole Noel, Nancy Hart (Tim) Sprague, Robert F. (Cynthia) III and Mary K. Hart Salachli; great grandchildren, Madalynn Grace Noel, John Alan Noel, Conner Raney, Hunter Marcus Raney, Austin Lisle Raney, Parker David Raney and Madeline Kye Raney; one sister, JoAnn Jarrett; and former son-in-law, Keith Alan Noel.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by three siblings, Judy, Charles and Tolbert Epperson.

Services will be private at Winchester Cemetery by Pastor Mike McCormick of Calvary Christian Church. Scobee Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
