Thomas Leo Johnson, husband of Velma Johnson, of Mt. Sterling, passed Friday.

He was the son of the late Charles and Marie Young Johnson, a truck mechanic and member of Corner Stone Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by 3 sons, Michael (Wendy) Johnson, Ronnie (Kristine) Johnson and Michael (Christy) Creech, 2 daughters, Melissa Hampton and Stephanie Collins, 11 grandchildren, Christian, Jordan, and Hannah Johnson, Taylor and Lauren Collins, Jessica and Abagail Hampton, McKenzie, Emma, Cameryn and Conner Creech, and Cailyn Oldfield, 1 great-grandchild, Grayson Johnson, 2 brothers, Bill and Bobby Johnson, and 5 sisters, Naomi Tew, Margaret Fullmer, Anna Coleman, Helen Spencer and Brenda Yazell.

His funeral will be 1:00 Tuesday at Herald & Stewart Home for Funerals with burial in Winchester Cemetery.
