Earl Thomas Johnson, 86, husband of Estelle Martin Johnson, passed away on Tuesday, October 02, 2018 at his home. A native of Clark County, Kentucky, he was born on October 9, 1931, to the late Clarence “Bill” and Alta Johnson. He was retired from Lexington Bluegrass Army Depot and a Kentucky Colonel. He was a United States Marine Veteran of the Korean War.

In addition to his loving wife of 62 years, he is survived by two sons, Lowell Douglas Johnson and Alvin Earl (Tonya) Johnson; four grandchildren, Amber, April, Brian (Nicole) and Jessica Johnson; several great grandchildren including, Ethan, Waylan, Earl Grant, Preston, Rebecca and Joslin Johnson; two sisters, Ruby Patrick and Imogen (Herman) Devary; several nieces and nephews.

Services will be at 10:00AM, Saturday, October 6, 2018 at Scobee Funeral Home by Pastor Mike Phillips. Burial will be in Clarmont Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Lee Wade Berry, Wendall Willoughby, Kenny Smith, Brian Johnson, Gene Pace, Paul Johnson and his great grandsons, Ethan Wiseman, Preston and Grant Johnson. Honorary pallbearers will be Willie Smith, Dillard Blackburn, Mark Atkinson, Mike Atkinson, Melvin Atkinson, Johnny Patton and Eugene Miller.

Visitation will be from 5:00-7:00PM, Friday, October 5, 2018 at Scobee Funeral Home
