Kainen Spencer, 4, attends Clark County Preschool. He’s an only child, lives in Winchester and enjoys going to school, drawing and playing on the playground.

Winchester Sun: What have you learned at school?

Kainen Spencer: Everything. My ABCs.

WS: What is something you want to learn?

KS: My ABCs.

 

WS: What do you want to be when you grow up?

KS: A school bus driver.

 

WS: Why?

KS: Because I ride the bus to school and home.

 

WS: What makes you happy?

KS: Dogs.

 

WS: Do you have dogs at home?

KS: Yeah but it got sick of parvo.

 

WS: What makes you sad?

KS: Looking at dogs, sometimes, because I miss my dog.

 

WS: What is one of your favorite places to go?

KS: The school.

 

WS: Do you have a favorite food?

KS: Apples, bananas, cereal, rice krispies, rice chex.

 

WS: What is something you think adults can learn from children?

KS: Pretty much nothing.

 

WS: Do you have a favorite movie?

KS: Curious George.

 

WS: Favorite color?

KS: Green.

 

WS: What about a favorite season?

KS: I like the snow. It’s fun.

 

WS: Do you like to build snowmen?

KS: One day when it was snowing outside at my papaw’s, I built a little snowman. I put sticks in his stomach and sticks in his nose. Sometimes I eat snow. I eat snow cones. One day, I went somewhere, and I don’t remember where it was, I think it was a parade. I got a root beer snow cone. That’s my favorite drink.

 

WS: Who’s is someone in your life that you look up to and why?

KS: My teacher. I love her.

 

WS: What would make the world a better place?

KS: Me.
