WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— On Thursday, ems personnel responded to 14 general medical calls, six cardiac cases, one respiratory case and two strokes.

— At 8:04 a.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to a vehicle accident at Bypass and Fulton roads.

— At 9:36 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to a tree on a utility line at 385 Boone Ave.

— From Friday through Sunday, EMS personnel responded to 43 general medical calls, three respiratory cases, two diabetic cases, one stroke, one seizure and one overdose.

— At 12:23 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at Winchester City Hall, 32 Wall St. It was a false alarm.

— At 1:51 a.m. Sunday, firefighters were called to 21 Churchill Drive for a gas leak.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Shane Caves, 28, was charged Thursday with second-degree fleeing or evading police, tampering with physical evidence and buying or possession drug paraphernalia.

— Aaron Faulkner, 40, was charged Thursday with driving under the influence, possession of an open alcohol beverage container in a motor vehicle, carrying on a concealed deadly weapon and second-degree criminal mischief.

— Brandi Parker, 34, was charged Thursday with theft by deception, theft by unlawful taking under $500 and third-degree escape.

— Tyrus R. Fortney, 58, was charged Friday with second-degree criminal trespassing.

– Paris Lee Green, 32, was charged Saturday with theft by unlawful taking and resisting arrest.

— Stephen M. Green, 33, was charged Saturday with theft by unlawful taking and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

— Kathy L. Griesehop, 41, was charged Friday as a fugitive from justice.

— Sherri Lynn Thornberry, 54, was charged Sunday with theft by unlawful taking.

— Brittany L. Walker, 31, was charged Saturday with theft by unlawful taking.

— At 10:45 a.m. Thursday, officers responded to Clark Regional Medical Center, 175 Hospital Drive, concerning an assault.

— At 4:54 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to 225 Oxford Drive concerning criminal trespassing.

— At 6:57 p.m. Thursday, officers took a report for an emergency protection order

— At 8:36 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to 219 Mutual Ave. concerning a domestic disturbance.

— At 11:09 p.m. Thursday, officers conducted an investigation into a theft. Brandi Parker was arrested on multiple charges.

— At 10:10 a.m. Friday, officers were called to 245 Carolina Ave. concerning a person sending threatening text messages.

— At 10:34 a.m. Friday, officers were called to 62 Melbourne St. after someone broke into a residence and took a safe.

— At 7:12 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 66 S. Main St. concerning a threatening note.

— At 12:42 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to 250 Oxford Drive for a domestic disturbance over stolen keys.

— At 11:24 a.m. Saturday, officers were called to 50 N. Main St. concerning an assault.

— At 5:21 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning a theft. Brittany L. Walker was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.

— At 7:49 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 145 Magnolia St. after a woman broke a window with a rock.

— At 8:13 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to Rural King, 951 Bypass Road, concerning a theft of clothes. Stephen Green and Paris Green were arrested on multiple charges.

— At 1:07 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to 108 W. Hickman St. for a trespassing complaint.

— At 9:12 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to 106 Hampton Ave. concerning a theft of jewelry.

— At 11:15 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to 4 Edgewood Drive concerning  a theft of jewelry.

— At 2:37 p.m. Sunday, officers took a report for an emergency protection order.

— At 3:07 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 369 E. Washington St. concerning the theft of a tool box from a vehicle.

— At 4:06 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 1960 Bypass Road concerning a theft. Sherri Lynn Thornberry was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.

CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Shaunn Davis, 52, of 12 Willow Drive, was charged Thursday with possession of marijuana.

— Daniel Pelfrey, 40, of 301 Short St., was charged Thursday with speeding, no seat belt, driving under the influence (second offense), no proof of insurance, no registration receipt and reckless driving.

— Misty Deaton, 24, of 525 Constitution Drive, was charged Saturday with fourth-degree assault, alcohol intoxication and disorderly conduct.

— Russel Pelfrey, 57, of Vancleve, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence.

— At 5:19 p.m. Friday, deputies were called to 675 Logan Lick Road concerning a theft from a barn.

— At 11:31 p.m. Saturday, deputies were called to 118 Shalamar Rue after multiple mailboxes were damaged.

— On Saturday, deputies were called to Heather Lane concerning a possible sexual assault.

— At 6:22 p.m. Friday, deputies were called to Best Value Inn, 5100 Revilo Road, concerning a theft.

— At 11:56 a.m. Sunday, deputies were called to 3403 Schollsville Road concerning the theft of hemp plants.

— At 12:18 p.m. Sunday, deputies were called to 242 Cook Ave. after someone broke into a residence and took a number of tools.

Accidents

— At 12:22 p.m. Saturday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Lexington Road in which Estefania D. Benavides of Georgetown was stopped to turn left onto Venable Road when she was struck from behind by a vehicle driven by Amy F. Rouse of 342 Canewood Drive. Rouse and her passenger, Claudia Rouse, were transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

— At 3:15 a.m. Sunday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Interstate 64 near the 100 mile marker in which Russel Pelfrey of Vancleve apparently went off the road, struck a rock wall and was ejected from his motorcycle. He was transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center with unspecified. He was later charged with driving under the influence.

— At 1:58 a.m. Friday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Shanahan Lane.

— At 10:23 a.m. Friday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Old Boonesboro Road.

— At 12:41 p.m. Friday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Iron Works Road.

— At 9:36 p.m. Friday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Dry Fork Creek Road.

— At 12:25 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Lexington and Venable roads.

— At 7:12 p.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Irvine Road.

— At 3:15 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an injury accident near the 100 mile marker on Interstate 64.

— At 2:16 p.m. Sunday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Jameson Way.

— At 3:13 p.m. Sunday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Muddy Creek Road.

— At 8:08 p.m. Sunday, firefighters were called to 1223 Iron Works Road for a report of smoke in the area.
