Don Ritchie, born June 25, 1931, died October 8, 2018.

Son of James William Ritchie and Yhula Snapp Ritchie. Loving husband to Barbara Perkins Ritchie for 70 Years and father to three children; son Don Cody Ritchie(Loretta) and daughters Dana Ruth Spalding and Melissa Duane Ritchie. Grandsons are Brian Thomas Spalding and Jeffrey Lawrence Spalding.

Don was preceded in death by his father James Will Ritchie, step-mother Louise Aldridge Ritchie, and brother James Brockman Ritchie.

He is survived by his brother Rev. William Eugene Ritchie(Susan) and three sisters Ann Hiles Tippit (Bill), Joyce Tincher (John), Donna Jones and special cousin Jo Ann Carr Swetnam.

Don was a former Area Manager of Columbia Gas of Kentucky with offices in Winchester, Irvine-Ravenna and Mt. Sterling, Ky. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, past Noble Grand of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows, past president of the Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce, board member of WMU, honorary member of Fort Boonesboro, and a Kentucky Colonel.

Visitation will be at Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home in Winchester on Friday October 12, from 5-7 p.m. A memorial mass will be held at St Joseph Catholic Church in Winchester on Saturday at 11 a.m. The burial will be in the Lexington Cemetery at 2:30 p.m.
